Billing & Plans

Manage your Zynnode subscription, upgrade, and payment settings.

Zynnode offers a free Hobby plan and a paid Pro plan. You can manage your subscription directly from the Zynnode dashboard — no need to contact support.

Upgrading to Pro

You can upgrade at any time from the dashboard:

  1. Go to Settings in the left sidebar.
  2. Click the Billing tab.
  3. Click Upgrade to Pro.
  4. A modal will appear with the Pro plan details. Click Continue to Checkout.
  5. You'll be redirected to our payment provider (Polar) to complete the purchase.
  6. After payment, you'll be redirected back to Zynnode. Your account is upgraded instantly.

After upgrading, you may see a brief "Processing" message while your account updates. This usually takes just a few seconds.

Managing Your Subscription

Once you're on the Pro plan, the Billing tab in Settings shows your subscription details:

  • Plan name — Your current plan (e.g., "Pro Plan").
  • Renewal date — When your subscription renews next.
  • Manage Billing button — Opens the Polar customer portal where you can update your payment method, view invoices, and change your billing details.

Updating Payment Method

  1. Go to SettingsBilling.
  2. Click Manage Billing.
  3. You'll be redirected to the Polar customer portal.
  4. Update your card or payment method.
  5. Click Save and close the portal. You'll be returned to Zynnode.

Viewing Invoices

  1. Click Manage Billing from the Billing tab.
  2. In the Polar portal, navigate to the Invoices or Billing History section.
  3. Download invoices as PDF for your records.

Cancelling Your Subscription

You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time:

  1. Go to SettingsBilling.
  2. Scroll down to the Cancel Subscription section.
  3. Click Cancel Plan.
  4. A confirmation dialog will appear, showing the date your plan will remain active until.
  5. Click Cancel Plan to confirm, or Keep Plan to go back.

What Happens After Cancellation

  • Your Pro features remain active until the end of your current billing period. You've already paid for this time, so nothing changes immediately.
  • The Billing tab will show the date your plan expires (e.g., "Cancels on May 24, 2026").
  • After the billing period ends, your account reverts to the Hobby plan.
  • Your projects and deployments are not deleted. You may just hit the Hobby plan's limits.

Cancellation doesn't take effect immediately. You keep Pro access until the end of the period you've already paid for.

Re-subscribing

If you cancelled and want to come back to Pro:

  1. Go to SettingsBilling.
  2. Click Upgrade to Pro (this button reappears after your plan reverts to Hobby).
  3. Complete the checkout flow again.

Payment Provider

Zynnode uses Polar to handle payments securely. Your credit card information is never stored on Zynnode's servers — it's handled entirely by Polar. For payment-related questions or issues, the Polar customer portal (accessible via Manage Billing) is the best place to start.
